Equine Art Rooted in Passion and Precision
From the quiet power of a horse at rest to the sweeping movement of a galloping herd, each piece captures the spirit, grace, and emotional depth of the equine world. Working in digital, acrylic, and traditional media, the work is crafted by hand — impressionist in approach, and deeply personal in feeling.

About the Artist
Gabriella Pettijohn
A lifelong love of horses has shaped both my eye and my hand in every piece I create. From an early age, I felt a deep pull toward both art and animals, and I quickly learned that horses are far more than a subject — they are a mirror of emotion, strength, and vulnerability. That connection has never left me, and it lives in every brushstroke and every digital mark I make.
My work draws on the impressionist tradition — loose, expressive, and led by feeling rather than rigid realism. Whether I’m working in acrylic on canvas, sketching in traditional media, or building a piece digitally, the goal is always the same: to capture a moment of truth, the flare of a nostril, the arc of a neck, the stillness before a run.
Based in California, I create fine art prints for collectors and horse lovers alike who wish to bring equine art into their homes. Each piece is human-made and one-of-a-kind in spirit, even when reproduced.
